About the Collection

These icons are made by hand in Malmö, Sweden.

Each piece begins as a digital composition,
then becomes something physical —
laser-cut, layered, assembled, and finished by hand.

Just time, repetition, and a fair amount of stubbornness.

THE OBJECT

Every icon is built from multiple layers of wood,
cut and assembled to create depth and structure.

The process is precise, but not mechanical.
Small variations will always occur —
that’s part of what makes each piece its own.

If something isn’t right, it doesn’t leave the workshop.

WHY THEY LOOK LIKE THIS

The work borrows from religious iconography —
If you consider that blasphemous, then this isn't for you.

These are not saints in the traditional sense.
They are figures of obsession, failure, devotion, excess —
the things people actually build their lives around.

SHIPPING & REALITY

Each icon is made in small batches and shipped from Sweden.

Shipping costs are calculated as fairly as possible,
but sending physical objects across the world isn’t always cheap.

If you’re ordering from outside Europe, the UK, or the US,
feel free to reach out — I’m happy to provide a custom quote.

ABOUT

My name is Lupus Nensén.

I work with graphics and props for film and television,
and spend the rest of my time making things like this.

Lupus in Fabula is a place for those objects —
things that don’t quite belong anywhere else.

If you want to see other stuff I've... THEN I'M ALL OVER THE INTERNETS. Just google it boomer!
